From Madonna to a Madonna sample. Annie’s ‘Greatest Hit’ incorporates a sample of Madonna debut single ‘Everybody’ (which I might have to write about in the future because it’s a lost gem). This track is takes the funky 80’s synth line that worked great in the original and it works great here in combination with Annie’s sultry vocals.
